Job Summary

Provides high quality nursing services under the direction of a Registered Nurse consistent with the agency's philosophy, policies and standards of care. Responsible for working within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act regarding judgment, nursing skills, teaching, and experience. Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and caregivers. Provides compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy. Provides treatments, document care, administer medications as directed.

Works with other members of the interdisciplinary group in order to meet the patient/family's goals for all agency programs. Participate in providing weekend and weeknight coverage to assure patient care as assigned.

Authora Care Collective is currently seeking an LPN Home Care for our Burlington service area. This position is Full-Time
Monday
- Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Must have a current North Carolina LPN license.
  • One year's LPN experience necessary, preferably two years in an acute care, hospice, LTC or home health setting.
  • Other:
    Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
