Job Description

Join a dedicated team of cardiac progressive care nurses in Burlington, North Carolina, where you will focus exclusively on cardiac patients, managing arrhythmias, post-cardiac catheterization care, and complex cardiac drips. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Your responsibilities will include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, overseeing telemetry monitoring, and supporting patients with respiratory issues like COPD and pneumonia.

The setting emphasizes patient safety with remote monitoring and a collaborative atmosphere. This role is ideal for nurses with at least two years of experience in cardiac care, familiar with EPIC and rapid response protocols, and comfortable managing multiple medical equipment and procedures in a fast-paced environment.

• Interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
• Overseeing telemetry monitoring
• Supporting patients with respiratory issues (COPD and pneumonia)
• Maintaining patient safety through remote monitoring

• At least two years of experience in cardiac care
