RN Nurse, Charge Nurse
Charge RN - Night Shift (3x12 Hours)

This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 days a week with every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
The Charge RN will provide essential nursing care in a 29-bed unit specializing in adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. The unit features telemetry monitoring and a physical therapy gym, promoting patient recovery on-site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and manage charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
- Provide care to patients recovering from total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
- Monitor patient telemetry and provide necessary interventions.
- Facilitate effective patient care routines in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Assist with physical therapy procedures and aid in patient mobility.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with prior charge nurse experience required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Travel experience is essential.
- EPIC charting system experience is required.
- Active RN license must be in hand at submission.
