American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring STEMI and Stroke facility experience and NC or compact RN licensure.
Details- Emergency Department caring for combined adult and pediatric patients of all ages
- Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
- Facility features cath lab, women's health, and stroke care specialties
- Non-trauma ER, STEMI Certified and Stroke Certified facility
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7p-730a (occasional 3p-3a as needed)
- EOW and holiday coverage as needed
- No call requirements
- May float to any Cone Health campus as needed
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- EPIC charting system experience required
- STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (Pass/Fail, two attempts allowed)
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Current driver's license required to verify address
- Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute and trauma presentations
- Skills in respiratory care, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and neurological emergencies are valued
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management is beneficial
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
