American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ER experience and STEMI/Stroke facility background.
Details- General Emergency Department serving combined adult/pediatric populations
- Non-trauma emergency department at a STEMI and Stroke certified facility
- Cares for special populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7p-730a, with occasional 3p-3a shifts as needed
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- No call requirements
- Floating to any Cone Health campus may be required
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, triage, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Current driver's license required for consideration
- Care for patients experiencing a wide range of emergency conditions including cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and trauma-related cases
- Hospital specialties include cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
- All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local rates apply
- RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
