What You'll Be Doing

+ Perform laboratory testing and analysis to support patient diagnostics and healthcare outcomes.

+ Process and prepare biological samples according to established laboratory procedures.

+ Utilize laboratory instrumentation and equipment to perform routine testing.

+ Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory results.

+ Support quality control and quality assurance activities.

+ Troubleshoot test performance issues and document corrective actions when needed.

+ Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, and laboratory organization.

+ Collaborate with Scientists, Technologists, and laboratory teams to ensure accurate and timely results.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.

+ Strong laboratory skills gained through academic, internship, research, or industry experience.

+ Knowledge of biology, chemistry, and laboratory testing techniques.

+ Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous laboratory experience through industry work, internships, undergraduate research, or academic laboratory courses.

+

Experience with sample preparation, quality control, or laboratory instrumentation.

+ 1-3 years of laboratory experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
