** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while following site protocols and documenting relevant details.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, support orderly operations, and report concerns to the appropriate contacts.

+ Support a professional presence throughout the location by communicating with staff and visitors, providing directions when needed, and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or security-related issues.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
