Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Lead to oversee and coordinate HVAC installations for our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, managing installation projects, and ensuring adherence to safety standards, timelines, and quality requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lead a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and high-quality installations.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate installation projects, considering customer requirements, equipment availability, and technician capacity.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs, address inquiries, and provide expert recommendations on equipment selection, placement, and system design.
- Oversee the installation process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Perform hands‑on installation tasks when necessary, demonstrating expertise in HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques.
- Monitor installation progress, track project timelines, and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed installations.
- Provide regular updates to customers, keeping them informed about project progress, timelines, and any necessary modifications.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning among the installation team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in HVAC systems or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in HVAC installation.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
- In‑depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques, including a strong understanding of relevant codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
