Do you enjoy working with children and making a positive impact in their day? We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded, and caring After School Van Driver to join our daycare team. This position plays an important role in safely transporting school-age children from local schools to our childcare center while creating a positive and welcoming experience for every child.
Responsibilities- Safely transport children from area schools to the daycare according to an established schedule.
- Assist children as they enter and exit the vehicle.
- Maintain communication with the daycare regarding schedules, delays, or transportation concerns.
- Keep the van clean, fueled, and in good operating condition.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate transportation records as required.
- Assist with light daycare activities or classroom support when transportation duties are completed.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of children in our care.

Schedule- Part-time, 1:30pm to 4:30pm
- Typically follows local school schedules

- Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass the NCDCDEE Childcare background Check
- Pass a drug screen

- Dependable, organized, and committed to safety.
- Ability to meet physical requirements associated with transportation duties.
