Position Details
Provide high-level administrative support to the Chair and other senior department leaders in the Department of Family Medicine. Provide highly specialized support for department matters, handle complex business calendars exercising independent judgment in problem-solving, prioritizing workflow, establishing timelines and preparing meeting materials for successful departmental meetings. Assist with maintaining records, along with coordinating faculty appointments, reappointments and promotions, and faculty annual review process.
Coordinate special projects to ensure an overall standard of excellence in the office operations. Handle all administrative responsibilities including but not limited to arranging for conferences, workshops, meetings, travel, support for organizational activities, and reporting assistance. Contributes to a progressive and team-based work environment that thrives on communication, collegiality, and commitment to health care.
Associate’s degree and one to three years related experience required. Proficient knowledge of software applications used to support office functions, ability to multitask, and attention to detail required. Effective business communications and correspondence skills required.
Desirable QualificationsWorking knowledge of People Soft and People Admin desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range$22 - $27.50/hour
