The Purchasing Associate is a member of the Purchasing Team. This position’s primary duties include entering and tracking the status of purchase orders (POs) placed with vendors.

• Create, review, approve, and send Purchase Orders to vendors.
• Monitor all orders placed with vendors and update the status according to the information provided.
• Contact vendors by phone or email whenever necessary to expedite, cancel, check status, or amend a PO.
• Use UPS, Fed Ex, LTL information, and the shipping tool to update the delivery status.
• Create Item Fulfillmen ts for Drop Ship POs and Sales Orders.
• Collaborate with the Order Management team members and Engineering to resolve any issues, such as delays that impact customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Shipping Department to ensure all packages/items are received and monitor missing/lost items.
• Assist the Accounting Department in resolving invoice issues such as price discrepancies, incorrect quantities, and miscellaneous fees.
• Manage Preferred Stock Level (PSL) for select inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained for daily business.

• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and work‑related injuries.

• Familiarity with Net Suite or similar business management software.
• Experience sharing a workload while working as part of a team.
• Experience working in an open office environment.

This position is located in South Burlington, Vermont.

The Purchasing Associate works in a typical office environment. The office climate is comfortable year-round, with air conditioning in summer and heating in cooler seasons. It is a very clean space with significant natural light. The role involves substantial desk work and repetitive computer tasks.
