ReArch Construction is an innovative construction management, property management, and real estate development firm founded upon the principles of ethical conduct, superior customer service, sustainable practices, and aggressive advocacy of our clients’ needs. Our vision is to be transformative in the industry, and in order to achieve this, we are searching for the best to come join our team!
Safety CoordinatorAs a Safety Coordinator, you’ll be helping ReArch reinforce our commitment to safety as a core value across all our active projects in Vermont and New Hampshire. This role will support our Safety Director by strengthening relationships between safety and project teams, performing jobsite inspections and observations, and ensuring consistent follow-up on safety documentation, compliance, and corrective actions.
The Safety Coordinator will spend the majority of their time visiting jobsites, verifying that required safety inspections and toolbox talks are being completed, tracking documentation in Procore, and helping promote a strong, practical safety culture on site. Building trusting relationships with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field teams is essential to the success of this role. This is a great opportunity for a proactive safety professional early in their career, or an experienced field leader, to learn and grow in a foundational-level position with a growing leader in Vermont’s construction sector.
The position is approximately 50–75% field-based and requires daily travel to jobsites, with office work based out of ReArch’s Vermont location in South Burlington or occasionally from an active project site depending on project needs. The pay range for this position is $30–35 per hour.
QualificationsCandidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Safety Sciences, or a related field with at least one year of construction industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We are also interested in hearing from candidates with significant field leadership experience (such as a foreman role) with OSHA credentials and an interest in transitioning into safety.
OSHA 30-hour certification is required. This role requires frequent travel, the ability to drive for extended periods, and the ability to safely navigate active construction jobsites, including climbing stairs and ladders.
Voted one of Vermont’s Best Places to Work for the 8th year in a row in 2026, ReArch values employees and provides a safe and fun work environment with opportunity to develop skills, engage in stimulating and challenging projects and grow within the company. We offer:
- Competitive pay, a discretionary annual bonus, and a 3% employer 401(k) contribution after 6 months of service
- Generous paid time off including 4 weeks combined sick/vacation, 7 paid holidays, and up to 3 paid days off for charitable volunteer work
- Benefits including health, dental, vision, short/long-term disability, life, and AD&D insurance
- Company-sponsored outings and events including holiday parties, family ski & ride nights, and annual Cornhole Tournament
At our South Burlington, VT office, employees enjoy access to walking trails, an adjacent health club, coffee roaster and cafe, seasonal food trucks, and an early care and education center with preferential placement given to ReArch employees.
