Job Details
We are seeking an Estimator to assist in the pursuit of large and complex HVAC and Plumbing construction projects. Project Estimators prepare and submit competitive bids for new projects across our company's Aerospace, Education, Entertainment, Hospitals and Transportation markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare project estimates and proposals for commercial HVAC and/or Plumbing projects
- Thorough review of project-scope documentation
- Attend scheduled job walks. Ask project-related questions.
- Complete material take-offs, collect equipment and subcontractor pricing, prepare estimates
- Communicate with external and internal project partners
- Hit key milestones and submission deadlines. Help win new projects.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with construction, HVAC, or plumbing estimating
- HVAC and/or plumbing project estimation (preferred)
- Familiarity with digital project-estimation platforms (preferred)
- Quick Pen experience (preferred)
