Job Title
This position is fundamental to the success of our retail stores. Customer service specialists work closely with commercial and residential clients to understand their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the most appropriate solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly, ensuring maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of product quality and store presentation.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service.
- Assist clients in person or over the phone by identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
- Build lasting trust relationships with commercial and residential clients.
- Process sales transactions accurately, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate order and formula records.
- Retrieve products from shelves or the warehouse.
- Mix and tint products according to customer specifications, if necessary.
- Stock shelves and set up displays.
- Clean store equipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Participate in deliveries, if needed.
- Keep assigned areas well-stocked and presentable.
- Stay informed about offered products and discuss available options with clients.
- Follow inventory management procedures.
- Propose ways to improve sales.
Minimum requirements:
- At least seventeen (17) years old.
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
- Possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Able to retrieve materials from shelves or the floor and lift and transport up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Capable of reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in French.
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or general adult education certificate (CAEC).
- At least one (1) year of experience in a related position in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Previous experience in selling paint or related products.
- Experience using dyeing and mixing equipment.
