Overview
Sign Language Instructors provide sign language instruction to children/students who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or hearing but utilize sign language to communicate. Instructors work with families or staff and peers in their homes or in school/childcare settings. Sign language instruction services are included in a child’s One Plan or 504/IEP. Services will be provided in person in Vermont. Coverage area will be White River Jct.
to Brattleboro.
- Provide sign language instruction to students as part of their educational plan.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and peers in homes or school/childcare settings.
- Deliver in-person services in Vermont within the designated coverage area.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- ASL fluency
- Experience teaching sign language
- Experience working with children, families and teachers
