Substitute:
District Wide for the School Year.
District Substitute provides instructional coverage when teachers are absent, ensuring a consistent safe learning environment by following classroom plans and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Provide instruction in K-12 classrooms.
- Work with a range of learners, including students with disabilities and ELL students.
- Assume all duties and responsibilities of the regular classroom teacher.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA.
- Follow directions or teacher instructions and assignments.
- Provide feedback for the regular classroom teacher.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with support faculty and staff.
- Maintain a safe learning environment and take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintain and enforce District policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Prepare and complete appropriate reports and paperwork.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Superintendent, building principal, or their designee(s).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or teaching licensure preferred.
- Experience working with children (coaching, camp counseling, after school, extracurricular).
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Attributes
- Training and/or experience with English Language Learners.
- Experience in a professional/teaching learning community; experience in co‑teaching or collaborating with other educators.
- Evidence of student‑centered learning approaches including personalized instruction and supporting students meeting core proficiencies.
- Evidence of implementing inclusive practices for students with special needs.
- Ongoing educational postgraduate coursework in education or a subject area, including diversity, equity and inclusion.

- Salary: $198.80 per day (Per Diem position) paid Bi‑Weekly.
