Early Childhood Special Educators in the Extended School Year program provide supports in an inclusive summer pre‑school environment for young children ages 3‑6. ECSEs will provide services in the classroom, in small groups, and individually as assigned.

• Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators License.
• Licensed in Early Childhood Education / Special Education.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Experience in closely working with, providing direct instruction to, and case‑managing special education students.
• Experience in supporting children with cognitive, language, ASD, adaptive, behavior and social‑emotional needs.
• Ability to commit to work all 3 program weeks, July 7th – July 24th.
• Experience working in a pre‑school classroom.
• Ability to train and supervise para‑educators.
• Experience in working with ELL students who have language development needs desirable.
• Knowledge of best practices in engaging and motivating students and managing student behaviors.
• Previous experience in Extended School Year programming is preferred.

Program Dates: Jul 6, 2026 – Jul 24, 2026 (3 weeks)

Position Type: Seasonal Part‑Time

Salary: up to $40 per Hour
