Overview
Sign Language Instructors provide sign language instruction to children/students who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or hearing but using sign language to communicate. Instructors work with families, staff, and peers in homes or school/childcare settings. Sign language instruction services are included in a child's One Plan or 504/IEP. Services are provided in person in Vermont, with coverage area from White River Jct.
to Brattleboro.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- ASL fluency
- Experience teaching sign language
- Experience working with children, families, and teachers
