• Understanding that behavior is a form of communication and know that behavior can be modified through consistently implemented behavior support interventions.
• Experience supporting academic, social, and functional skills within the scope of an individualized program.
• Receptive to feedback, implement recommendations, and collaborate with professionals in order to continually develop their practice.
• Knowledge of how to differentiate within a classroom, as well as analyze data determine commonalities in standards and IEP goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification Required
• Elementary Ed Certification Required
• Prior experience working with students with Autism (preferred)
