At Christ the King School, we are a faith-filled Catholic Pre School through 8th Grade school dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development of every child. We partner with families to provide an exceptional education rooted in Gospel values, Catholic tradition, and academic excellence. Thus, we are seeking a joyful, caring, and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and who is committed to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment for our youngest students.

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom that supports the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood learning standards and the school's curriculum.
• Integrate Catholic values, prayer, and faith formation into daily classroom experiences.
• Foster students' cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and spiritual growth through play-based and hands-on learning.
• Establish positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families regarding development and achievement.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom that promotes exploration, creativity, and independence.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, liturgies, and other activities that support the mission of the school.

Early Childhood

• Qualifications
  Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
  Valid state teaching certification or eligibility for certification preferred.
  Experience teaching preschool or early childhood students preferred.
  Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
  Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  Practicing Catholic preferred, or a willingness to support and uphold the mission, philosophy, and teachings of the Catholic Church.
  Successful completion of all required background checks and diocesan Safe Environment training.
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
