As an Industrial Engineer at OnLogic, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing and operational processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams including production, supply chain, and quality to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that support our mission of delivering robust industrial computing solutions to customers worldwide.

You will analyze workflow, design efficient systems, and develop solutions that streamline production while maintaining the highest standards of product reliability. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence. This is a full‑time, onsite role based at our Headquarters in South Burlington, VT.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Designing, evaluating, and optimizing lean manufacturing layouts and assembly workflows to support fluctuating production demands for configurable computer hardware.
  • Drive the integration of new technologies, automation, and AI into manufacturing processes efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to establish and maintain best practices and standardized work procedures.
  • Support capacity planning and layout design to optimize facility utilization.
  • Introducing automation, fixture designs, or specialized tooling to eliminate waste, improve ergonomic safety, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
  • Utilize AI‑driven and data‑driven approaches to monitor performance metrics, analyze production data (takt times, error rates, and bottlenecks), and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor while sustaining gains in global operational excellence.
The team you will be joining:

Our Operational Excellence team is responsible for driving efficiencies and effectiveness across all functions of our global organization. This is accomplished by leveraging automation and a multitude of other improvement processes. Always living up the way we work through innovation and process optimization, these team members work closely with all departments in identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to sustain gains in operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering, process optimization, or related roles.
  • Proven experience utilizing data analytics, time‑studies, and workflow mapping to drive continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity and practical experience implementing AI and automation use cases to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
