Minimum Qualifications (or Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience)
- Associate degree and one to two years specialized experience required.
- Certification by Vermont Criminal Justice Training Council within probationary period required.
- Physical examination, written examination, psychological evaluation, and background investigation required pursuant to Rule 32 of Vermont Criminal Justice Training Council required.
- Valid Vermont driver’s license or ability to obtain, and driver’s check required.
- Specific physical requirements apply based on job functions required, listed under Physical Demands & Work Conditions.
Desirable Qualifications Anticipated Pay Range Starting wage $36.62, increase available depending on years of Vermont Law Enforcement experience. Other Information Special Conditions Weekend work required, Non-standard work hours required, A probationary period may be required, This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions, Background Check required for this position FLSA Non-Exempt Union Position Yes, NEPBA
