Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a 16-week travel assignment requiring recent Epic proficiency.

Details
  • Mammography unit in an academic medical center setting
  • Rotating 8- and 12-hour day and evening shifts
  • Primary shift is every other Saturday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with additional day shifts
  • Schedule runs Monday through Sunday; must be open and flexible — no block scheduling
  • Uses Hologic mammography units, Epic EMR, and Visage imaging system
Requirements
  • Current ARRT (M) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
  • Epic experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
  • Two professional references required — at least one from a manager or supervisor within the past 6 months, and one from within the past year of employment
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
  • Candidates with NY licensure pending (proof required) will be considered
  • Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
  • All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history including facility type, bed count, and EMR must be provided
