Role DescriptionThis is a Per Diem Emergency Department Recovery Coach role located on-site in Burlington, VT. The Recovery Coach will provide peer support and guidance to individuals navigating substance use challenges, focusing on promoting recovery and wellness. Key responsibilities include offering non-clinical support, facilitating recovery plans, and providing compassionate assistance to individuals in the emergency department setting.
Qualifications- Experience in Peer Support and Recovery Coaching
- Knowledge of Addiction Recovery and Coaching methods
- Ability to provide training and mentorship for recovery pathways
- Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills
- Experience working in a peer-support or recovery coaching setting is highly desirable
- Understanding of trauma-informed care practices is beneficial
