ARDMS or CCI credential in pediatric echocardiography required. Minimum of 3 years of independent pediatric echo scanning experience required. Experience in fetal echocardiography preferred. Strong knowledge of complex congenital heart disease, cardiac surgical repairs, and pediatric cardiac anatomy. Must be confident scanning independently in critical care areas Experience with pediatric patients and family centered care AHA BLS Epic from the last 2 years

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform echo cardiographic imaging procedures to evaluate cardiac structure and function. Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, positioning patients appropriately, and operating ultrasound equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images. The technologist will analyze imaging results, recognize cardiac abnormalities, and document findings in the EPIC electronic medical record system. Additional duties include maintaining imaging equipment, supporting workflow in the echo lab, assisting physicians with diagnostic interpretation, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each study.
