KeyQualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency performing general ultrasound imaging (abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Recent clinical experience in general ultrasound, preferably within an acute care setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to new environments
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Conduct high-quality general ultrasound exams and procedures on diverse patient populations
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately
- Accurately document findings and collaborate with radiologists and physicians for diagnosis
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and monitor for optimal performance
- Uphold safety protocols, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
- Support patient-focused care and demonstrate professional conduct at all times
