Rehabilitation Technician

Job Summary

Birchwood Terrace looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Rehabilitation Technician to become a vital part of our therapy team. In this role, you'll support Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing facility setting. As a Rehab Tech, you'll play a key role in helping residents regain independence and improve their quality of life.

• Assist therapists with resident mobility, transfers, and exercise preparation
• Prepare and maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment areas
• Transport residents to and from therapy sessions in a timely and caring manner
• Accurately document patient attendance and assist with progress notes as directed
• Monitor and manage inventory of therapy supplies and equipment
• Support therapists with administrative tasks, scheduling, and communication
• Help create a positive, supportive atmosphere for residents and staff

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a rehab or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• A team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for helping others
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
