Business Systems/ Tech Analyst, Data Analyst
Our manufacturing client in the Burlington, MA area is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on business intelligence automation, Power BI, and dashboard creation. This individual will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in enhancing decision-making tools and data-driven processes across global operations. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and functional teams to define, develop, and implement automated reporting systems that improve accuracy, speed, and impact of business decisions.
The role is hybrid, appx 3 days on site (Tues–Thurs is typical).
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate current technology usage and identify opportunities for automation and integration of new systems.
- Analyze reporting needs across departments and translate them into technical and functional requirements.
- Design, test, and implement tools to automate reporting and analysis for functions such as operations, sales, finance, marketing, HR, and executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards to support critical decision-making.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and gather requirements to inform system enhancements.
- Assess existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to improve performance.
- Recommend and help implement best IT practices and tools across the organization.
- Provide training and user support for new and existing systems.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within complex, global business environments.
- Power BI expert; advanced Excel skills including macros, modeling, and automation.
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Visibility and One Stream is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and deliver scalable solutions.
- High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and work with global teams.
- Hands-on, solution-driven mentality with a focus on delivering business value through technology.
Compensation:
Compenstation is expected to start in the 115k plus range with an excellent benefits package.
