Job Summary

Coordinate the complete and accurate receipt of incoming purchased goods inventory for both factory and warehouse locations, coordinate with quality representatives for incoming inspection, and oversee the put‑away and shipping of goods. Manage purchase orders and shipments to outside service providers such as paint and heat‑treat facilities. Coordinate daily warehouse picks and deliver to lines promptly, ensuring efficient and effective daily operations in line with on‑time and accurate shipping goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work activities in receiving, warehouse, and material handling.
  • Participate in monitoring and analysis of business objectives related to assigned work areas.
  • Coordinate assignments per daily operation team priorities and objectives.
  • Become proficient in all duties and tasks performed by all team members in the department.
  • Cross‑train team members in all tasks and jobs required for receiving, warehouse, and inventory put‑away and inventory transactions.
  • Responsible for receipts and verification of purchased parts and goods.
  • Coordinate coverage schedules in cooperation with area team members, supervisors, and management.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organize warehouse and factory stock areas in accordance with modern inventory practices.
  • Maintain general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the warehouse, dock, and inventory areas.
  • Perform repetitive manufacturing processes efficiently and effectively.
  • Apply basic understanding of LEAN manufacturing and guide team members in improvement activities.
Other Necessary Functions
  • Follow all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards, and safety requirements directed by Edlund Company and the department.
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management, including Material Handling and/or Production.
  • Be punctual, follow instructions, and work well with others.
  • Work flexible hours as needed, including job rotation and overtime.
  • Uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvements, and follow manufacturing best practices.
  • Maintain excellent organizational skills.
  • Apply basic understanding of LEAN manufacturing and ISO where applicable.
Qualifications

High school education or equivalent; and/or up to three years of related experience or training in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to obtain forklift training certification.
