Overview

Are you highly effective in working objectively with a diverse group of people, groups and organizations? The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) seeks an Administrative Specialist for our Coordinated Entry (CE) program, a multi-agency system of intake, assessment, prioritization, and referral for people experiencing housing crises in Chittenden County. The CE Administrative Specialist serves as the liaison to the CE system for community partners.

In this role you’ll be responsible for system maintenance, process improvement, data entry, support to community partners, as well as standardized intakes, assessments, and referrals to services for people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness. This is a hybrid position with four days in office and one day remote.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as liaison to the Coordinated Entry system for community partners.
  • Maintain CE system processes and implement process improvements.
  • Perform data entry and ensure data quality for CE activities.
  • Provide support to community partners and standardize intakes, assessments, and referrals to services for people experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness.
Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to relate to others in a positive, confidential, and nonjudgmental way.
  • Experience developing and maintaining organizational systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
