Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Registered Nurse

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.

• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
  Cross Country Program - The University of Vermont Health Network and no current placement allowed at Program:

Large (500+ bed count) teaching facility experience

• Please note RNs hemodynamic device experience.
• Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained. This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit.

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.

• A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
• Must be willing to work potentially all weekend shifts.
• Monday to Sunday.

Will float to MICU if needed.

  This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted eduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off.
