Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty:
Stepdown - Discipline: RN
- Start Date:
02/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36 hours
- Shift: 12 hours, days
- Employment Type:
Travel PCU/Tele RN - Orientation:
Bi-weekly on Mondays - Next Orientation Date: 3/9
- Schedule:
Monday–Sunday | No block schedules - Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend
- Travel Rate: $100/hr (51–100 miles)
- Local Rate: $105/hr (≤50 miles)
- Distance measured straight-line, not driving distance
- Minimum 2 years PCU/Tele experience
- Cardiology experience required, including post-cath, STEMI, and structural heart patients
- Prior travel experience preferred
- EPIC experience within the last 2 years – REQUIRED (non-negotiable)
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- NIHSS must be completed prior to start
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- Floating required (travelers float first):
To Med/Surg or other Progressive Care units within Central Pool PCU
- IVs to offer
- Full work history required for submission (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
- All employment gaps over 30 days must be explained
- Public transportation not accessible
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle required
- Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires (Nov–April)
