We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN / Travel Nurse) for a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont (05401). • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Schedule: Minimum every other weekend; flexibility required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a large, teaching hospital (500+ beds)
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred (may be waived for candidates with extensive ER and teaching facility experience)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Vermont or Compact RN license accepted
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIH Stroke Scale
• TNCC required (proof of TNCC class or certificate prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (limited public transportation); vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

• CEN, ENPC, MOAB, Pro Act, or other de-escalation training (preferred)
• Strong triage, acute care, and rapid assessment skills in emergency nursing
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume ED settings and teaching hospitals
• Excellent interdisciplinary communication and documentation skills (EPIC)

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ED
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and interventions for acute and critical patients
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Accurately document patient care and clinical decisions using EPIC EMR
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development as a travel nurse
• Maintain flexibility for rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and unit staffing needs
