• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: March 9, 2026
• End Date: October 18, 2026
• Contract Length: 16–32 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour days (0645–1715); schedule flexibility required
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call: 1–2 weekday calls (1900–0715), one full weekend of call every 5 weeks
• Employment Type: W2 Travel Nurse
• Pay Rate: $120/hr

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont or compact state
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent operating room RN experience, with strong skills in cardiovascular and open-heart procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in large academic teaching hospital (500+ beds) preferred
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• General OR experience; ability to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.)
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation available)
• All-season or snow tires recommended November–April

• Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, supporting cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations as scheduled
• Float to other operating room suites as needed to support patient care
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling to meet unit and patient needs
• Provide holiday coverage as part of the travel nursing assignment
