We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Travel Nurse for a 26-week travel nursing assignment at a large, teaching hospital.   • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights); flexibility required, including every-other-weekend coverage
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Start Date: April 6, 2026 • End Date: October 5, 2026
  • On-site: This is an on-site travel nursing assignment (reliable personal or rental vehicle required)
  • Travel Requirements: Vehicle mandatory; public transportation limited. November–April: vehicle must have all-season or snow tires.
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,360–$2,480/week
Qualifications /

Job Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-appropriate) — Emergency nursing / ER RN required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience in an ED/trauma setting
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred; may waive if candidate has experience in large (500+ bed), teaching hospitals and multiple ERs
  • EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
  • Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (proof of TNCC course or certification required prior to start)
  • Preferred certifications/skills: CEN, ENPC, MOAB, Pro Act or other de-escalation training
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and adjust schedule to meet patient care needs; weekend coverage expected
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete recent work history required
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a busy ED
  • Perform triage, rapid assessment, and stabilization for acute, critical, and trauma patients
  • Deliver advanced life support interventions as needed (ACLS/PALS)
  • Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate patient care plans
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and ED protocols
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in a high-volume, teaching hospital Emergency Department
