Job Description

Registered Nurse – Operating Room #26-15447 (Cardiovascular Operating Room). Assignment for 13–16 weeks. Day Shift 12 hours/day, 3 days/week (Mon–Sun).

Location:

111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, Vermont 05401. Salary:
Weekly stipend $2,016; hourly $33–$34; base pay $1,188–$1,224. Starts 7/13/2026 for 13 weeks.

OR RN must be strong in orthopedics and will rotate between day/evening schedules. Pattern typically: three‑day shifts plus one off shift. Off shift options: 08:45–19:15, 10:45–21:15, or 12:45–23:15. Call: one weekday call per week and one 24‑hour call in each four‑week block. Must be flexible to meet unit and patient care needs.

• Prior travel experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience.
• Experience in a large (500+ bed) trauma Level‑1 facility.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years; required and non‑negotiable.
• Circulate and scrub skills checklists in packet.
• Must be able to scrub all specialties except CVOR cases.
• Must be able to scrub all general OR, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular.

• IVS to offer.
• Schedule Monday to Sunday.
• No block schedules for any reason.
• Bi‑weekly orientations on Monday; next available 7/27.
• Please explain all employment gaps over 90 days.
• The facility requires all work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete to submit.

• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle recommended.
• Vehicles should have all‑season or snow tires during November–April.
