- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2268
- Contract Completion Bonus: $500
- 12‑hour shifts with day shift ratio of 1:4 patients and night shift ratio of 1:5 patients
- Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
- Holiday expectations every other holiday
- No floating required
- No on‑call responsibilities
- 2 years of nursing experience required
- First‑time travelers not accepted
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
- Epic charting system preferred
- Equipment includes Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing
- Scrub color:
Any color allowed - Free parking provided
- 1 day hospital orientation and 1 day unit orientation
- Time off requests up to 7 days can be approved
- Care for emergency patients from neonates to geriatrics with a 1% pediatric population
- Manage chest pain, abdominal pain, stroke, and neurological patients
- Skills required:
triage, assisting with RSI/intubation, procedural sedation, restraints, blood products and mass transfusion, stroke care, trauma activations, and cardiac STEMI care - Support includes techs (1:10 ratio), charge nurse with patient load, phlebotomy assistance, 24/7 respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage, and midlevel providers from 10 a‑10 p
This 123‑bed medical facility operates as a Trauma Level III center and Primary Stroke Center, featuring a 14‑bed emergency department. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services with air transport capabilities for AMI patients and maintains 24/7 support services including respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage. The emergency department utilizes bedside and nurses station telemetry monitoring and maintains modern equipment to support critical care needs.
