Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 16‑week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,594 to $2,804 per week. Shift: 3x12‑hour Nights. Setting: hospital, travel temporary assignment. This role targets high‑acuity L&D care with EPIC EMR use, weekend requirements, and flexibility for night shifts.

- EPIC EMR experience within the past 12 months is required
- Deliver direct nursing care to high‑risk labor and delivery patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, analgesia, and assist with obstetric procedures; respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and NICU teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient status in the EPIC electronic health record; ensure accurate, timely charting and communication.
- Provide patient and family education, support, and discharge planning as indicated.
- Maintain adherence to unit protocols, infection control practices, and safety standards during night shifts and weekend coverage.
- Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont (or eligibility to practice in travel assignment state)
- Certifications:
NRP, BLS, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Equivalency) or approved equivalents - EPIC EMR experience within the past 12 months is required
- 2+ years of high‑risk labor & delivery experience; first‑time traveler considered with solid 2+ years in high‑risk L&D
- Ability to work 3x12‑hour night shifts; weekend coverage required; ability to work in a hospital setting
- Reliable transportation; public transit is not accessible in the area
- Bi‑weekly orientations on Mondays
