Position

Full‑time

• Develop, evaluate, and control the quality of in‑service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide education, in‑service training, educational guidance, and support to the facility.
• Provide leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in‑service educational programs of the facility.
• Secure, develop, and maintain records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc., pertinent to in‑service educational programs.
• Develop and participate in planning and conducting orientation programs that orient newly hired employees to their position, policies and procedures, resident rights, and responsibilities.
• Develop, implement, and review ongoing educational programs for nursing staff.
• Coordinate and implement ongoing in‑service training for all staff, including but not limited to infection control, fall prevention, and resident rights.
• Assist in the evaluation process of nursing staff during the orientation period and on an ongoing basis. Maintain a program of continuing education to stay abreast of new trends in nursing care and procedures.

• Licensed RN in VT
