Operating Room Nurse, Surgical Assistant
Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room
This is a 13-week contract position.
12 Hour Rotating Shifts (Day and Evening) with 10-day or 12-day options.

Call Requirements:
Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekday night calls and one full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a cardiovascular operating room, scrubbing and circulating during procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care and collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Scrub and circulate in the cardiovascular operating room
Provide patient care and support throughout the surgical process
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and efficient environment
May be required to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.)
Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
A minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience, specifically in cardiovascular/open heart
Prior travel experience is required
Experience in a large (500+ beds), academic, teaching hospital is necessary
Epic experience from within the past 2 years is non-negotiable
