American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy position requiring prior travel experience and EPIC proficiency within a large teaching hospital setting.

• Work in the Endoscopy unit of a large teaching hospital
• 9-hour rotating day shifts with variable start times (6:30 AM-4:00 PM, 8:30 AM-6:00 PM, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, or 7:30 AM-5:00 PM)
• 40 hours per week over a 16-week assignment
• On-call responsibilities required
• No floating required
• High volume of ERCP procedures performed
• Provides conscious sedation medication and monitors patients during procedures

• Active RN license (VT or Compact) required
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required; AHA PALS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Prior experience in a large, teaching facility required
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience starting IVs, assessing H&P information, and post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation required
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required

• Responsible for patient assessment, IV starts, and post-procedure recovery care for endoscopy patients under conscious sedation
• Bi-weekly orientations occur on Mondays with no block scheduling permitted
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
• Proof of COVID and flu vaccination or declination required for consideration
• Local candidates accepted
