Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled NICU Registered Nurse for a 17-week assignment at level III NICU. The role involves providing specialized neonatal intensive care, floating between units as needed, and working primarily night shifts with some days.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive neonatal care to critically ill and stable newborns in a level III NICU setting.
- Float across various units including newborn NICU, mother/baby, nursery, and delivery as needed.
- Adhere to protocols and maintain compliance with AHA BLS, NRP, and other neonatal certifications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and communicate patient status effectively.
- Document care and treatment accurately in EPIC electronic medical records within the past two years.
- Work weekends and holidays per schedule, with no on-call duties required.
Qualifications:
- Hold current AHA BLS and NRP certifications; STABLE and RNC-NIC preferred.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years NICU level III experience, including large teaching hospitals.
- Demonstrate prior travel experience or experience in large NICU teaching facilities (500+ beds).
- Have recent EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years.
- Exhibit reliable transportation and the ability to work scheduled weekends and major holidays.
