CVOR RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room

Schedule:

Rotating shift: 10 hours
- Four 10-hour days ) or three 12-hour days ) - On-call: One or two weekdays ) and one full weekend every five weeks.

Requirements: BLS certification required - CNOR certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience, specifically in cardiovascular/open heart
- Epic experience within the past 2 years required
- Must have experience in large academic teaching hospital settings
- Must be flexible with schedule to meet unit and patient care needs

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room. Assist in various surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety. Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the perioperative process. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Effectively communicate with both patients and staff regarding care plans and procedures.
