Job Summary:

The medical surgical and telemetry (MS TELE) nursing position is located at a central healthcare facility. This assignment is designed for a duration of approximately 16-26 weeks, offering an engaging opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment. The role involves providing high-quality patient care across diverse units, with flexibility to support various specialty areas as needed.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start, experience in a large trauma level 1 teaching facility, and recent EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system experience within the past 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, adaptability to float support across various clinical areas including hematology, oncology, orthopedics, medical tele, general surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), and gynecology (GYN).
• Additional Information:
  This position requires floating to support multiple specialty units, including but not limited to hematology, oncology, orthopedics, med tele, and others. Flexibility with scheduling is essential, including working at least every other weekend and supporting holiday coverage for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
  
  The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and ends on 02/07/2027. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and complete work history details are required for submission.
