Quality Control Manager / Leadership Opportunity

We’re partnered with a leading manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products to identify a Quality Control Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality leader who wants to make a visible impact on production performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, you’ll serve as the driving force behind plant quality systems, lead a team of Quality Control professionals, and partner closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leading incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities to ensure product quality compliance
- Managing quality systems and supporting compliance with ISO, ASME, ASTM, and internal quality requirements
- Coordinating internal and external audits and driving corrective actions when needed
- Investigating non-conformances, managing Return Good Authorizations (RGA), and overseeing product disposition activities
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing Quality Control inspectors and quality personnel
- Leading rapid-response quality initiatives to quickly resolve production-related issues
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring problems
- Partnering with Production, Engineering, and Comer teams to improve quality, delivery performance, and operational efficiency
- Supporting customer witness inspections, testing activities, NDT reviews, coating inspections, and final product acceptance
- Experience leading quality control or quality assurance functions within a manufacturing environment
- Background in industries such as precision machining, metals manufacturing, aerospace, industrial equipment, automotive, or similar sectors
- Experience with audits, NCRs, CAPA programs, and quality management systems
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM, or related quality standards
- Proven leadership experience supervising inspectors or quality personnel
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communications skills
