Advertising/Posting Title Lab Research Technician Posting Summary
Develop and optimize sensors, collect, process, and interpret electrochemistry data, train new students, maintain cell cultures (including biowaste management), troubleshoot instrumentation, disseminate our findings through presentations, and write manuscript(s).
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Neuroscience and one year experience with electrochemical sensors and maintaining and growing cell cultures.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with fast scan cyclic voltammetry, carbon fiber microelectrodes, flow injection analysis, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
Experience with polymer coatings such as PEDOT/Nafion.
Anticipated Pay Range $22.34/hr to $23/hour Other Information
Please note this position is .80 FTE for a 12-month term ending June 30, 2027.
