City Market Co-Op is seeking Deli Service Staff to assist our Prepared Foods Department in crafting many of our popular offerings! • Assisting in preparation, stocking and cleaning of all food display and production stations.
• Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, vendors, co-workers, and community.
• Gathering ingredients from storage or from other departments as necessary.
• Assisting with receiving and stocking new products when needed.
• Ensuring that finished products are tasty, fresh and attractive.
• Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
• May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

• Six months of cooking or food service experience OR one year of customer service experience required OR a demonstrated willingness to learn.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
