Summary
Cashier responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue while providing exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co‑workers and clients.
- Greet guests immediately and use proper salutations.
- Maintain accuracy and composure under pressure while using proper phone etiquette.
- Assist guests with directions and inquiries about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and nearby attractions.
- Determine guest charges and process payments via cash, credit, or direct billing. Categorize tickets for audit purposes and furnish payment receipts.
- Collect and reconcile revenue accurately and submit shift reports on time.
- Operate cash registers, gates, and credit‑card machines while following cash‑bank procedures.
- Obtain daily event and rate information to apply correct charges.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Lead Cashier/Account Manager.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1‑3 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide three‑digit numbers and handle U.S. money.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending standard English.
- Basic understanding of 24‑hour/military time, rates, and discounts.
- Strong verbal communication skills for one‑on‑one and small‑group interactions.
Full Time and Part Time (Flexible hours).
Compensation & BenefitsHourly base pay range: $14.01–$17 per hour.
Eligible for accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401k retirement savings plan. Eligibility depends on classification, length of employment, and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles may not be eligible for these benefits.
Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentEmployee will frequently sit or stand for extended periods, walk, run, and handle objects requiring up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work outdoors in varied weather conditions and may travel up to 5%. Visual and physical requirements apply as described in the original job description.
