** South Burlington, VT** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will observe and report unusual activity, support access control, and provide clear, professional communication and customer service to employees and visitors.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with check-in and/or badge procedures as required and report unusual activity per post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency services when directed.

+ Complete required reports, activity logs and incident documentation in a timely manner and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision per post orders.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
