$27.19/hr – Burlington, Vermont

Sign‑on bonus: $500 issued 90 days into employment for holders of a valid ARMED Vermont Security Guard license.

Schedule: Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 7:45 am – 4:30 pm.

We are looking for a highly qualified armed security officer to work full‑time in a courthouse setting. The role involves patrolling, screening, access control, reporting, safety inspections, emergency response, and providing customer service to courthouse staff and visitors.

• 21 years of age minimum to receive an armed license
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Ability to pass an onboarding check and drug screen
• Ability to pass a PSR test (personality assessment)
• Ability to pass a pistol qualification
• Competency with a handgun, shotgun, baton, handcuffs, and use of force
• Experience in foot patrol, screening, access control, reporting, safety inspections, customer service, and emergency response
